Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S89.0°W from T15S R10E S28 W 1/16 COR, 1313' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe; rising 4" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The quarter corner bears NW, about 75' from the centerline of FR16. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on a U-post which bears N, 37" distant. Found a western juniper and three ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides. In addition, there are yellow BEARING TREE tags on the trees in the NE and SE quadrants.
What property is this mark defining?: private property SE from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest; see also survey CS13383 filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office
