Triangulationssäule auf der 'Höhe 572' von 1876

Rote, rund 2 Meter hohe zylindrische Säule mit der Jahreszahl [red}1876 und der Bezeichnung 'Station Langenbach # 156' unweit Langenbach. Europäische Gradmessung und köngl.sächsischen Triangulation. Um Verwitterung der Säule nicht Vorschub zu leisten, wurde die Säule vor kurzer Zeit frisch aufbereitet und eine Informationstafel sowie eine Ruhebank aufgestellt.

Red cylindrical column about 2 meters high with the year 1876 and the designation 'Station Langenbach'. European degree measurement and royal-saxony triangulation. Dated 1876. To prevent the weathering of the column, it was renewed and maintained some years ago. There is a Informationboard and a bench at this location on the border Thuringia and Saxony.
