FR On trouve cette habitation troglodytique, dont l’entrée est fermée par une grille en fer, 300 mètres avant la Chapelle Sainte-Anne de Goiron.
Quant on arrive sur le site, on voit en premier lieu la façade bâtie qui devance la partie nord de la baume. Classé monument historique, le site a été restauré. Mais, à la vue des anciennes photos, la restauration semble avoir été trop poussée, en particulier celle du toit qui ne devait pas avoir à l’origine un aspect aussi fini et aussi bien ouvragé. A travers les barreaux de la grille qui ferme l’entrée, on peut voir une grande partie de la première salle et l’ouverture d’accès à la salle située à l’ouest.
On pouvait accéder à la cavité par une seconde porte, en bois celle-ci. Mais, moins solide que la grille en fer de la première entrée, elle a été doublée à l’intérieur d’un mur en parpaing qui en condamne l’ouverture.
Le site a été inscrit aux Monuments Historiques par arrêté du 14 mai 1937, puis restauré dans les années 2006-2007. D’après les éléments architecturaux, les différentes étapes de l’aménagement de la Baume ont été datées aux XIe -XIIIe et au XVe siècle.

Les Alpes de Lumière/Parc naturel régional du Luberon ): Le mouvement de construction d’habitations individuelles qui s’annonce dès la moitié du XIe siècle et se poursuit jusqu’au début du XIIIe montre combien l’utilisation du rocher est un phénomène essentiel de l’habitat rural médiéval.
