Am Anfang sowie höchsten und südlichsten Punkt des Rappenalptals steht der Grenzstein 147 und es endet in Einödsbach, dem südlichsten Ort Deutschlands. In der Mitte des Tales fließt der Rappenalpbach, der in seiner Quellregion noch als Haldenwanger Bach bezeichnet wird. It norther (ending or starting) point is at the small town Einödsbach. ( visit link) map: ( visit link) In the mid of this valley is the river Rappenalpbach, which is called Haldenwanger Bach near its origin.

At the north there is a standard (small) road, but, closed for cars - only walking and bicycles. When you climb up higher the valley the paths are smaller and the steep.
What points of interest are there?:
The boundary stone 147 is at the southernmost point of this valley and Germany. After that, you come to Austria.
What activities are available?:
bicycling, walking
Hours of accessibility?: in summer time only due to snow situation
List of known hazards (cliffs, snakes, poison plants, etc.):
Cows and similar animals walk around without fences.
If you are carefull, you will see rare animals of the mountains, which are not harmfull.
The wheather can be the most hazard: snow might stop you from climbing up the valley.
