Metro stop opened in 2003, after the creation of the new Metro line 5. When it opened, the metro only reached Av.del Cid. When they opened Bailén in 2006, they were able to go to Torrent Avinguda from here.

The big downside is that from 22 hours, all trains that go in the Center direction, end in Alameda or Av.Del Cid, instead of reaching Torrent Avinguda or the Airport. And after 23 hours there is no service anywhere. And it is not understood because it is an underground section and does not cause noise in the street, as the sections on the surface that pass through the towns do, such as line 3 from Almassera or lines 1 and 2 from San Isidro.
