I was trying yet another approach to a Trig Point that I had been unable to get to when I came across yet another Plank Bridge in the Coffs Harbour hinterland.
This is a 'continuous span', with two sets of wooden pylons hardwood bridge. The pylons are directly into the shingle bed of the Urumbilum River. There are no guard rails, just a white-painted low square edge to the sides to encourage the driver to stay ON the bridge.
There is also a nice swimming hole under the bridge. (Not quite 6 foot deep.)
