In Bonn befindet sich ein Outlet der Outdoor-Geschäftskette Globetrotter. Das Sortiment der Kette umfasst unter anderem auch Kletterausrüstung. An der Aussenfassade des Gebäudes ist eine Kletterwand angebracht, wo die Ausrüstung direkt vor Ort getestet werden kann.

Die Wand ist etwa 12 Meter hoch und besteht sowohl aus in die Wand eingelassenen Steinen als auch aus Klettergriffen. Spalten in der Wand dienen zum Testen von Spreizern, Haken dienen zum Befestigen von Seilen. Es gab mal einen Geocache an der Oberkante der Wand, der aber inzwischen leider archiviert worden ist.

Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist die Nutzung nur während der Öffnungszeiten des Geschäfts (Mo-Sa 10:00-20:00) und unter Aufsicht des Personals möglich. Ansonsten wird der untere Bereich mit Planen abgesperrt, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist.
In Bonn there is an outlet of the outdoor business chain Globetrotter. The assortment of the chain also includes climbing equipment. There is a climbing wall on the outside of the building where the equipment can be tested on-site.

The wall is about 12 meters high and consists of stones embedded in the wall as well as climbing holds. Columns in the wall are used to test spreaders, hooks are used to attach ropes. There used to be a geocache at the top of the wall, which unfortunately has been archived.

For security reasons, use is only possible during business hours (Mon-Sat 10:00-20:00) and under the supervision of the staff. Otherwise, the lower area is shut off with tarpaulins, as shown in the photos.
