FR Les pierres repoussent
C'est ce que pense, Henri Garcia, ferronnier d'art à Lançon de Provence. Poète et artiste dans l'âme, passionné par son métier, cet homme joint l'utile à l’agréable et de ses mains naissent des œuvres d'art.

Entre Vernègues et Cazan, avant de passer sous le viaduc du TGV, un peu avant d’arriver à la chapelle Saint-Symphorien une plante bizarre a pris racines, la lignum-lapidem!
En bord de route se dresse une drôle de plante aux fleurs immortelles, fleurs de pierre emprisonnées au bout de ses hampes de fer forgé, 12 tiges que le mistral ne ploiera jamais et qui font penser à une agave en pleine floraison. Son support est en béton et ses racines, débordant du "pot", sont faites de toutes sortes de pièces de métal.

Cette sculpture, réalisée par Henri Garcia s’appelle « Ici, les pierres repoussent ». Y aurait-il une allusion au milieu ?
Ne vous y trompez pas, même si le massif sillonné de chemins caillouteux semble n’être que pins, chênes verts et garrigue. Les hommes ont construit des murets ou des bories avec les pierres, cultivé la terre et fait pousser des oliviers mais aussi des vignes donnant des vins merveilleux.

That's what Henri Garcia thinks, ironworker in Lançon de Provence. Poet and artist at heart, passionate about his job, this man joins business with pleasure and his hands are born works of art.

Between Vernègues and Cazan, before passing under the viaduct of the TGV, a little before arriving at the chapel Saint-Symphorien weird plant took roots, lignum-lapidem! At the roadside stands a strange plant with immortal flowers, stone flowers trapped at the end of its wrought iron poles, 12 stems that the mistral will never plaster and that are reminiscent of an agave in full bloom. Its support is concrete and its roots, overflowing the "pot", are made of all kinds of metal parts.

This sculpture, made by Henri Garcia is called "Here, the stones repel". Is there a hint in the middle?
Make no mistake, even if the massif crisscrossed with stony paths seems to be only pines, oaks and garrigue. The men built walls or bories with the stones, cultivated the land and grew olive trees but also vineyards giving wonderful wines.
