Bundesleistungszentrum für Eishockey (BLZ Arena) is the home of EV Füssen who play ice hockey in the Bavarian Bayernliga. The club is one of the most successful in Germany, having won sixteen national titles, its last championship coming in 1973. However, after a period of insolvency it was dropped to the 5th tier, the lowest division. The following year the team won that division and now plays in the 4th tier.
BLZ Arena has a fascinating shape and atmosphere. There are photos all around the arena that show off the history of ice hockey in the community.
