"Le pont levant Bazin a été construit au cours de l’année 1995. Son tablier se lève à 4 m de hauteur pour laisser passer le trafic fluvial. En position abaissée il rétablit la circulation routière de la rue Bazin en sens unique, avec une chaussée à deux voies. Il est la propriété de la Communauté Urbaine du Grand Nancy, mais il est exploité par le Service de la Navigation du Nord-Est. Le pont levant est manoeuvré par un automate en mode semi-automatique depuis la cabine du pont-levis de Malzéville."
