An der Außenfassade des 1888 erbauten Burgtheaters ist eine Büste von William Shakespeare zu sehen. Darunter ist der Name "Shakespeare" mit goldenen Buchstaben auf rotem Marmor angebracht und unter seinem Namen sind Statuen von Hamlet mit dem Totenkopf (links) und Ophelia (rechts) zu sehen. Der Bildhauer Rudolf Weyr war der Schöpfer dieser Statuen.

On the outer facade of the Burgtheater, built in 1888, a bust of William Shakespeare can be seen. Below it is the name "Shakespeare" with golden letters on red marble and under his name statues of Hamlet with the skull (left) and Ophelia (right) can be seen. The sculptor Rudolf Weyr was the creator of these statues.
