NJGS 9038, NJ, is a New Jersey Department of Conservation and Development survey disk located in very heavy brush along the east side of State Highway 47, about 2.0 miles northeast of the village of Leesburg, NJ. The disk is mounted in the top of a square, concrete monument, and projects about two inches above the surface. It is stamped STATION NO. 9038 ELEVATION ____ FEET. It is 83.0 feet south of a wood utility pole with no number, 41.7 feet east-southeast of the centerline of State Highway 47, and 38.1 feet northeast of the north end of a metal; guardrail on the east side of the highway. Handheld coordinates are N39-16.755 W074-57.752. The disk was originally set by the New Jersey Geodetic Survey (NJGS) in 1937, and documented for inclusion in the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) database by the NJGS on November 16, 1998. It is in the NGS database at PID = AI9737 (

To reach from the intersection of State Highway 47 and State Highway 55 (the more southerly of two such intersections) southeast of Millville, NJ, go southeast on State Highway 47 (Delsea Drive) for 3.9 miles to the station on the left.
