Eine im Thüringer Wald oft anzutreffende Art von Schutzhütten.
Diese Schutzhütte befindet sich direkt an der Weinstraße und ist als Forstrettungspunkt GTH-6410 in der Kette der Forstrettungspunkte eingetragen.
Die Hütte trägt ein tiefherabgezogenes Dach welches mit Schindeln aus Dachpappe bedeckt ist.
Der Innenraum beherbergt an den Seiten und der Stirnwand lange Holzbänke
die Platz für kurzzeitige Übernachtung der Schutzsuchenden gewährleisten
