Skagway has three deep water docks for cruise ships. The Railroad Dock on Congress Way is situated next to the famous graffiti covered cliffs where ship captains place the their names and the name of their ships. It also serves as a terminal for excursions on the the White Pass and Yukon Railway. The Broadway Dock is located at the end of Skagway's main street, Broadway, and is closer to the downtown area. The Ore Dock, which is located at the end of Main Street near the Ferry Dock.
Our ship the, Norwegian Cruise Line Bliss, docked at the Railroad Dock. It was about a one-half mile walk from the ship to the downtown area. If you wish, you can take a free shuttle service between the ship and the end of the dock and a shuttle bus into downtown for about $2.00. On this day the NCL Pearl was docked at the Broadway Dock.
