As of this posting, Discount Tire operates over 900 stores in 29 of the United States, providing service for all manner of tire and wheel needs. Their locations are typically a variant of the same theme, with a front counter and plenty of seating along the perimeter. There is also a place where one can sit on a stool and watch the goings-on in the service bay. They provide free coffee and free bottled water to customers. Until recently, there was no wi-fi at any of their locations, leaving you to entertain yourself with a book or your mobile gadget, unless you wanted to walk somewhere to have something to eat or drink. Now, they have wi-fi, making the time pass a bit quicker. There are a few places along the wall to plug in, but if you've got a laptop, your best bet is to sit on one of the stools in front of the service area, where you'll be able to park your laptop and plug in.
