At the Armadale Ferry Terminal ferries of Caledonian MacBrayne, Hebridean & Clyde ferries cross the Sound of Sleat, a narrow sea channel off the western coast of Scotland towards Mallaig. The travel time is around 30 minutes. The terminal is rather small and doesn't offer a lot for tourists, but around the terminal one can find some shops. The ferry can load vehicles and there's a coffee shop on the ferry where one can buy beverages, coffee, snacks etc.
