In Johnston, along Rhode Island Route 14, is this corn maze at Salisbury Farm.
The farm is located on the north side of the highway, about 2 miles west of the intersection with I-295. The parking lot is right by the road.
The barn is visible from the parking lot. In one entrance, apples and other products are sold, as well as tickets to the maze. After purchasing the tickets, follow the signs, going north to the entrance to the maze.
The maze was pretty extensive. We took about an hour to finish the maze - we were pretty thorough, even going back in to capture all of the special stampings. We filled out our cards and deposited them in a barrel to have a chance at a special prize (still waiting for that phone call!).
The maze design was dedicated to a charity for blood disorders. There were parts that represented New England states, people, and a few words. Inside, there were places where there were facts either about the farm or the charity. The maze also had a couple places where there was a flag on a tall poll. At these places, people who are 'lost' (and can't take it anymore) can wave the flag and someone will come and get them. There are also Emergency Exit points as well.
