Along The Leas, the seafront road at Minster on Sea are a row of 35 beach huts, mostly painted in pastel colours. These are located on the grass banks on the inland side of the promenade. As the grass bank slopes down towards the sea the front of the huts are built on stilts to keep them level.

All the beach huts have steps that lead to a covered patio which is ideal for sitting in or getting the barbecue under way. These huts are wider than the most common types of beach hut in the county and have double doors, rather than the most common type that only have a single door.

There are 10 owned by the Minster Beach Hut Association, 19 are privately owned and 6 are owned and rented out by the council.
