Designed and created by Calgary artists Daniel J. Kirk and Ivan Ostapenk, the artwork was unveiled in 2015. Sanctioned by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo under the Graffiti Abatement Mural Program, which provides legal spaces for street art and is a proactive approach to preventing graffiti vandalism. The artwork covers a large section of concrete retaining wall in Lions Park.
