One should cross this pedestrian bridge to get to the best spots to see the falls of the Blue Nile River. But its function is not only touristic. Local folks use it in their way around and it's special busy on Saturdays, when there is a market in Tississat and farmers coming from far cross the bridge, eventually with animals, like cows and donkeys.
