Bad Ems is a famous spa at the river Lahn. The town has seven mineral springs. The Römerquelle is placed near the spa gardens next to the casino of the town. Although its name is Römerquelle (Roman spring) there is no evidence that the Romans used this. Like all spings of Bad Ems the Römerquelle is a thermal spring and the temperatur of the water is about 42°C. There is a tap installed in the spring house and cups are provided, so drink it if you like.
