The transmutation tower for WMUC is located above the south campus dining hall, which sits above a hill on the University of Maryland Campus. This makes it a great location to put a small antenna to cover the entire University and some parts of the DC metro area. The signal can be picked up in about a 10 mile radius. The tower is about 15 feet tall and is anchored by steel wires to the roof.
