Nordwestlich der Altstadt ist die Spitalkirche an das Hartmannsheim angebaut. Der Kuppelturm stammt von 1695, das Innere ist bescheiden. Hier, außerhalb der Stadtmauer, stand von etwa 1350 bis 1914 das Spital der Brixner Bürger, daher der Name der Kirche."

Northwest of the old town the hospital church is attached to the Hartmannsheim. The dome tower dates from 1695, the interior is modest. Here, outside the city wall, stood the hospital of the citizens of Brixen from about 1350 to 1914, hence the name of the church."
