Various gems and minerals on display inside the geology building at the University of Maryland. Most were donated by one person in the 1980s. Nearly every major mineral is in the collection, over $1 million dollars in rocks I was told by the man who operates the museum. It is open to the public during Maryland Day (open house) and through appointments.
