The building just west of the Bethany City Hall houses the City Court and the Bethany Police Department. One great thing I found out about this (it is my local police station) is that they have a receptacle in the lobby for out-of-date prescription drugs. Rather than dump drugs down the toilet to pollute the water source, you can turn them in here for proper disposal. (After our move, we went thru all our medicines and took all the bad ones and turned them in here.) Hopefully, that will be the only contact I have to have with the city police!

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
