Der Monte Troodelöh ist mit 118,04 Metern die höchste Erhebung auf Kölner Stadtgebiet. Die Stelle liegt im Südosten der Stadt im Waldgebiet Königsforst.

Ein wirklicher Gipfel ist hier nicht zu finden. Und die Aussicht ist auch eher bescheiden. Nichtsdestotrotz haben die Kölner in ihrer typischen kölschen Art den Hügel zum "Monte Troodelöh" erhoben, mitsamt Gipfelstein, Informationstafel und Gipfelbuch. Benannt wurde der "Gipfel" nach den drei städtischen Mitarbeitern Troost, Dedden und Löhmer, die im Jahre 2000 erstmals die exakte Höhe der Anhöhe vermaßen und somit als "Entdecker" des "Gipfels" gelten.

2001 wurde daraufhin hier erstmals ein Gipfelkreuz errichtet, das später durch einen Findling ersetzt wurde. Der Alpenverein Köln brachte eine Informationstafel mit Höhenangabe sowie einen Gipfelbuch-Behälter an dem Stein an. Neben dem Gipfelbuch beinhaltet dieser auch einen Stempel mit der Bezeichnung des Gipfels. Das hier ausliegende Gipfelbuch dürfte eines der niedrigst-gelegenen offiziellen Gipfelbücher weltweit sein. Eine lokale Bank spendete zudem eine überdachte Rastbank neben dem Gipfelstein.

Inzwischen gilt der Monte Troodelöh als lokale Sehenswürdigkeit und wird von vielen Wanderern besucht. Diverse Wanderrouten durch den Königsforst führen an dem Gipfel vorbei.
Monte Troodelöh is with 118.04 meters the highest elevation on Cologne city area. The site is located in the southeast of the city in the forest Königsforst.

An actual summit can not be found here. And the view is rather modest. Nonetheless, in their typical Cologne style, the people of Cologne elevated the hill to "Monte Troodelöh", including a summit stone, an information board and a summit register. The "summit" was named after the three city employees Troost, Dedden and Löhmer, who measured the exact height of the hill for the first time in 2000 and thus are considered as the "discoverers" of the "summit".

In 2001, a summit cross was erected here for the first time, which was later replaced by a boulder. The Alpenverein Köln mounted an information board with height information and a summit register's container on the stone. In addition to the summit register book this also includes a stamp with the name of the summit. This summit register is likely to be one of the lowest-located official summit registers in the world. A local bank also donated a covered rest bench next to the summit rock.

Meanwhile, the Monte Troodelöh is considered a local attraction and is visited by many hikers. Various hiking trails through the Königsforst lead past the summit.
