At the waterdam "Talsperre Bitburg" a fish ladder is built to help the migrating fish (mainly trout) on their journey through the Prüm river.
The dam blocks the migration of the fish to their spawning grounds. The concrete construction with small steps guarantees the fish to pass and the water dam works as intended.
