(visit link)

Press article: "The ferruginous fountain in the city center
Rarely ill, the lord of Kéravel had the water from his fountain analyzed by scientists from Paris and doctors from Lannion. They revealed that this water could cure a multitude of diseases, such as that of the liver or spleen. The news spread beyond the canton, and Lannion became famous for its water. In 1860, the town hall wanted to build a spa, but the project did not come to fruition. The urbanization of the city subsequently blocked the flow from the source to the fountain, which today makes the water unfit for consumption." (visit link)
