La Caserne 39 a été construite en 1914 selon les plan de l'architecte Joseph Venne.
Elle se compose d’un bâtiment principal de deux étages, situé au coin de la rue. Elle abrite trois garages, des installations connexes ainsi qu’une haute tour située à l’arrière du bâtiment principal.
Aujourd'hui, on compte jusqu'à 65 casernes de pompiers sur l'île de Montréal.

It was built in 1914 according to the plans of the architect Joseph Venne.
It consists of a two-story main building, located on the corner. It houses three garages, associated facilities and a high tower located at the rear of the main building.
Today, there are up to 65 fire stations on the island of Montreal.
