After a pleasant drive on dirt roads and passing Tree Hill Trig, I checked out the abandoned property at the end of this road, then came back to the farmgate. Make sure you CLOSE the closed gates, and leave the open ones, OPEN.

I had come looking for TP5041 (visit link) and gingerly drove down the dirt track, which was rather muddy when I was there. Near the coordinates you can see some abandoned structure, which J+J has researched as the No. 10 Radar Station from WW2, which covered the Backstairs Passage near Kangaroo Island.

Now there is only three rectangular concrete blocks spaced around where the tripod structure sat above this Trig Point, embossed as 6526-1406.

So, if you come across the friendly farmer, you have the option of explaining that you are looking for a Trig Point, or for World War Two locations.
