A stone urn which stands in the former knave of the ruined church of St Nicholas in the deserted village of Knaptoft. Some have described it as the church font - but I disagree...

"Urn. Mid C18. Ashlar. Deep curving basin with a moulded base and rim. Removed from the nearby Shearsby Church in the early C20."
