The Longhouse Council covers seven Northern New York Counties - Onondaga, Cayuga, St. Lawrence, Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis. It administers 7 distinct districts: Cayuga, Interlakes, Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Northern Lights and Tri Rivers. There are 12 camps within those districts.
The Council HQ/Service centre is formally named the J. Stanley Coyne Service Center, in memory of John Stanley Coyne, a noted Syracuse businessman and philanthropist who has supported Scouting in the area over many years.
The HQ also boasts a Scout Shop.
Service Center hours are Mon - Fri 0830 - 1630.
The Scout Shop is open Mon - Fri 0900 - 1800 and Sat 1000 - 1400.
The HQ is located at 2803 Brewerton Road in the Mattydale Shopping Center, near to K Mart.
