East Texas Arboretum Website"The memorial is two red brick curved walls located within an open plaza with a bronze eagle sculpture overlooking the plaza. Names of veterans are engraved on granite panels embedded in the memorial walls.
The Henderson County Veterans Memorial will forever recognize the contribution of veterans who served to protect and preserve freedom for all Americans."

Description of Memorial: A large cement circle with two red brick walls in a semi-circle on the west side. In the center are two flag poles. Between the two walls is a red pillar with an eagle statue and the dedication plaque. The walls are covered in granite panels with the list of names.
