Matachines is a new Mexican restaurant in Edmond. It is located on the south side of 15th St., west of the RR tracks, and in the same shopping center as the Poppie's WWII monument. This location was previously used by Let's Do Greek restaurant.

Authentic Mexican food is served here, by friendly staff who cater to the customer. I found the prices a little high, depending on what you order, but it was worth it since the food was delicious and the service was outstanding.

Appetizers, sides, plates, kid's menu and a la carte are all offered on the menu. Cold drinks, including beer are also available. A sign at the register states that Margaritas will soon be available to customers.

The homemade chips and salsa were a little different than we normally have at Mexican restaurants. The chips were more like thin pita bread. They were warm and delicious!
