[GER] Die private Sammlung Prototyp – Personen. Kraft. Wagen. ist ein Automobilmuseum in Hamburg. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Präsentation von Sport- und Rennwagen der deutschen Nachkriegszeit sowie deren Konstrukteure und Fahrer.

Das Museum will die Faszination des Automobils umfassend zeigen, daher das Motto Personen. Kraft. Wagen. Einen Schwerpunkt der Sammlung bilden etwa 50 Automobile, Motoren und Modelle von Sport- und Rennwagen von z. B. Porsche, Volkswagen und Borgward, größtenteils aus den 40er-, 50er- und 60er-Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts sowie moderne Exponate wie der Prototyp für Audis Le-Mans-Fahrzeuge ab 1999 oder Michael Schumachers und Sebastian Vettels erster Formel 1 Rennwagen. In der Sammlung findet der Besucher viele Besonderheiten und Unikate wie beispielsweise den Porsche Typ 64 Berlin-Rom-Wagen, einen Porsche 356 aus dem Jahr 1950, den Formel-Rennwagen mit Porsche Spyder Boxermotor von Otto Mathé oder den Weltrekordwagen von Petermax Müller, mit einem auf dem Chassis eines VW-Kübelwagens installierten getunten 78 PS Käfermotor.

[ENG] The private collection prototype - persons. Power. Wagen. is an automobile museum in Hamburg. The focus is on the presentation of sports and racing cars of the German post-war period as well as their designers and drivers.

The museum wants to show the fascination of the automobile comprehensively, hence the motto "People. Power. Cars. The collection focuses on around 50 automobiles, engines and models of sports and racing cars from Porsche, Volkswagen and Borgward, mostly from the 40s, 50s and 60s of the 20th century, as well as modern exhibits such as the prototype for Audis Le Mans vehicles from 1999 or Michael Schumachers and Sebastian Vettel's first Formula 1 racing car. In the collection, visitors will find many special features and unique specimens such as the Porsche Type 64 Berlin-Rome car, a Porsche 356 from 1950, the Formula racing car with Porsche Spyder Boxer engine by Otto Mathé or the world record car by Petermax Müller, with a tuned 78 hp Beetle engine installed on the chassis of a VW bucket car.
