This 10' tall white and black Rt. 66 monument was placed in 2018. It is next to a Rock Island Railcar display, citizen memorials, and a Love Padlock display. The sculpture/monument was specifically designed to allow for photo opportunities for travelers on Rt. 66.

The city of El Reno, Oklahoma, on Wednesday installed a 10-foot-tall Route 66 monument, days before the annual El Reno Fried Onion Burger Day festival this weekend.
The monument, made by PremierCraft in nearby Oklahoma City, sits at West Wade Street and South Choctaw Avenue, near Sid’s Diner.
It’s designed so tourists can sit inside the double sixes, making it ideal for photo opportunities.
The El Reno City Council approved the making of the monument in February for not more than $50,000.
The El Reno Tribune reported:
Mayor Matt White got the idea for the monument after he and his wife drove through Arizona and saw throngs of people waiting in line to have their photo taken standing on a corner in Winslow, Ariz., a line made famous in a song by the band The Eagles.
