Cette sculpture en bois est située en avant du musée de la sculpture sur bois des Anciens Canadiens, à Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. Au haut de la sculpture sont inscrits les mots suivants: D'hier vers demain. On distingue un avion et un dirigible, une femme jouant de la guitare à ses enfants qui sont a proximités, et une représentation du Pape Jean Paul II qui est venu au Canada en 1984. A la droite de la sculpture, on remarque des personnages inconnus qui sont issus de l'imagination de l'artiste.
This wooden sculpture is located in front of the early Canadian Woodcarving Museum in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. At the top of the sculpture are written the following words: From yesterday to tomorrow. We distinguish a plane and an airship. A woman is seen playing the guitar to her children who are close by. A sculpture representing of Pope John Paul II, who came to Canada in 1984, is at the centre of the panel. At the right of the sculpture are characters based on the artist's imagination.
