A two-level roof makes this hexagonal gazebo stand out along Florida Highway 301/North Main Street in Wildwood, Florida. The gazebo is located on a small grassy area at the corner of Oxford Street. It is about 100 yards northwest of City Hall.
The standing seam metal roof is green and capped by a louvered cupola with a pyramid top. This six-sided structure has white posts and dark green metal braces with simple scroll work at the roofline. A narrow white sign with green lettering is hung beneath the eaves facing North Main Street and reads: "Wildwood, Florida" in script above and "ESTABLISHED 1877" in block letters below. There are thin metal railings, also finished in green, between the square posts. The poured concrete floor is level with the surrounding ground. Gently sloping walkways lead west to the main road's sidewalk, east to a parking lot, and circumscribe the gazebo. A variety of park benches are placed along the interior perimeter and trimmed shrubs surround the exterior.
