The three-storey shop, which dates from 1820, offers customers fitting surroundings in which to view and try out instruments of all eras.
They have an extensive range of old and modern instruments spanning the baroque, classical and modern periods - one of the largest selections in the UK outside of London.
There are four specially designed rooms in the premises where customers are welcome to try out instruments.
They have a purpose-built workshop extension that was completed in 2011. This major investment also enabled them to provide specialist tooling and individually designed workstations.

"Tim Toft started in the violin business over 30 years ago. Since then he has established himself as a respected international dealer and consultant. He is also an adviser on matters of instrument authenticity, provenance and investment to many professional bodies. He is always happy to discuss instrument matters, be it with a beginner or an owner of a fine Stradivari."
