This metal marker, fastened on a concrete and brick plinth is located near the intersection of Vulcan and Elk Streets in Sabula, Iowa. Along with the marker, there is a bay window caboose from the Milwaukee Road line number 992194 just to the south of the marker. At the top of the embankment is a current set of railroad tracks.

Had 10 daily passenger trains 1919
Four car steam ferry used 1872-1882
In winter tracks were laid on ice.
