This is a largish brown-brick church, almost looking like a large American barn, with the main entrance at the eastern end.
There are twelve gray steps up to the double doors. While I was sitting on the steps writing in my Waymarking log book the details of the church, a caretaker came along, and was able to show me a tablet inside the foyer, that documents the blessing and opening of this church on March 18, 1960.
[As follows]
To the Honour and Glory of God
and under the title of
Saint Mary Immaculate
This Church was solemnly
blessed and opened by
Most Rev. John Toohey, D.D.,
Bishop of Maitland
on March 18 1960
Rev. F. R. Ryan, Rector,
Rev. P. Purcell, Assistant.
Inside the Church is exposed wooden ceiling paneling, with the usual Stations of the Cross around the walls.
