The dark grey central stone pillar reminds me of a Hotine pillar style Trigonometric Survey marker - which are normally painted white. The pillar stands on light blue tiles, and has the insignia of the Navy, Army, and Air Force, with following white inscription below those: "Dedicated to the Memory of Those Who Served Australia in War". "Lest We Forget"

At the back are a matching pair of polished rhomboidal-shaped, grey and white flecked granite slabs, with polished black marble tablets that hold the inscriptions of the Honour Rolls. At the top of the black tablets are inscribed the Navy, Army, Air Force, and Merchant Navy insignia; below which reads: "In Honour of the Men and Women of the Krambach Area who Served in World War Two". And then below that is two alphabetic columns of names (40+ on each of the four columns.)

Krambach is a village and rural community about 27km inland of Black Head, and is on the MidNorth Coast of New South Wales. While the 2006 census for Krambach gave a population of 137, there must have been quite a few more living there some 80 years. [Wikipedia: (visit link) ]
