This is just one of thousands of spots throughout British Columbia where one may bide awhile in the summer and feast on wild raspberries.

The wild raspberries had been in season for a couple of weeks when we were out in the wild a few days ago. We had spotted raspberries in several places and decided to take a few pix here. "Here" is along Archibald Road, which runs south off Highway 3 about 8.5 kilometres west of Salmo. Just a couple of hundred feet off Highway Three is a parking area that snowmobilers use in the winter. Around that spot are wild raspberries. If one were to head off into the woods in any direction from that spot they would probably find an almost endless supply of raspberries.
