"Kollergänge wurden seit über 100 Jahren bis in die jüngste Zeit auf der ganzen Welt bei der Papierherstellung zur Zerkleinerung von Zellstoff und Altpapier eingesetzt.
Für die Maschinenteile aus Stein war die Mayener Basaltlava wegen ihrer Porösität, wie für Mühlsteine, besonders gut geeignet. Sie wurde für diese Zwecke bearbeitet und in die ganze Welt geliefert."

"Koller corridors have been used for more than 100 years in paper production all over the world for the comminution of pulp and waste paper.
