This one-story brick building, constructed in 1824, is located at 5707 Nieman Road. The building has a simple, central wooden doorway and on each side of the doorway, a single four-over-two window. The roof is wood shake shingle and there is a chimney on each end of the building. As for the marker - it is white with a light blue buffalo in the background. unknown who placed the marker, I suspect, though, it was the City of Shawnee.
