Constructed of blocks of local stone and white marble, the arches support a small strip of masonry. The waterproofed bottom of the conduit was found in the upper part. The monument follows the model of the great Roman water conduits which carried water to the cities and supported the flow of water that had to pass over the walls to converge in the castellum aquae (water distributor).
When was it built?: 01/01/1000
