"17th-century, picturesque village local in an old Fenland fruit growing area. The corrugated roof covers an original thatch. This busy, friendly pub provides a public bar with pool, darts and TV, and a warm, sociable lounge with a modern dining area extension serving good food. Has a good reputation among people in the village, many of whom are regulars in the pub. It is popular with both drinkers and diners. On Monday there is a fish & chip night. Holds fortnightly quiz nights. Outside, the garden has a children's play area and hosts occasional barbecues in summer.
