This amazing mural can be found on Cotton Street. You can even seen it from the freeway. According to the sign posted on the street to the left of the mural, it is "A giant celebration of life and its cycles."
From the Roadside America website:
14-Story Mural, Largest in the USA
Titled "Once in a Millinneium Moon," the mural covers 30,000 square feet, two entire outside walls of a 14-story building. It was a project for Year 2000. The mural contains 19 people and 40 objects, capturing the people of Shreveport, their treasures, triumphs, tragedies. There is a viewing station with a paint-by- number grid that describes each. Many artists worked on this project, some who hung off the side of the building for months.

Artist Meg Saligman coordinated this massive work, which wasn't completed until 2001.
