Leidenhausen ist eine städtische Freizeitanlage und ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel im Südosten Kölns. Das Gebiet liegt im Wald am Rand von Wahner Heide und Königsforst. Zentrales Element ist der ehemalige Bauernhof Gut Leidenhausen, den die Stadt Köln zum Waldinformationszentrum umgebaut hat. Folgende Einrichtungen und Attraktionen sind heute in dem ehemaligen Hof ansässig:

In dem Waldgebiet um den Hof herum sind weitere Attraktionen und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu finden:

• Trainingsbahn für Rennpferde

Die gesamte Freizeitanlage ist frei zugänglich, kostenlos und ganzjährig nutzbar, einzelne Angebote können abweichende Öffnungszeiten im Winter haben. Manche Einrichtungen wie das Haus des Waldes und die Greifvogel-Schutzstation haben grundsätzlich nur sonntags und an Feiertagen geöffnet. Leidenhausen is a municipal leisure facility and a popular destination in southeast of Cologne. The area is located in the forest on the edge of Wahner Heide and Königsforst. The central element is the former farm Gut Leidenhausen, which the city of Cologne has converted into a forest information center. The following facilities and attractions are now located in the former farm:

• Portal to the Wahner Heide & Königsforst (information and exhibition center as well as seminar rooms)
• Environmental Education Center (since 2018)
• Forest School (recreational activities close to nature for children)
• House of the Forest (nature museum)
• Hunting School
• Offices of the Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald e.V. and other environmental organizations
• Café

In the forest area around the farm there are more attractions and sights:

• Game reserves
• Bird of prey rescue station
• Training course for race horses
• Forest playground

The entire leisure facility is publicly accessible, free of charge and can be used all year round, individual attractions may have different opening times in winter.
