The brown brick Soldiers Memorial Hospital was opened in June 1957, despite a local hospital committee being established for raising funds in 1909. More recently, in 2020 there was a few million dollar renovation and upgrade done. There is limited Surgery provided, and even more limited Obstetric care. There seemed to be sufficient free open-air on-site parking.
